GREENCASTLE, In. (September 1, 2018) - The Tradition Classic resumed play on Saturday, September 1, with the Red Devils taking on Indianapolis North Central at 1pm, the No. 24 ranked team in the latest Top Drawer Soccer FAB 50 National Poll.

With just 14:40 gone in the first half, the Red Devils earned a direct kick about 24 yeards out from goal, off angle to the left with JP Lteif over the ball to take the kick. Moments later, the Senior Forward ripped a shot that sailed over the goalkeeper's hands and into the net for the early 1-0 lead.

With solid defending and a consistent attacking, Hinsdale stayed strong and prevailed over the perennial powerhouse from Indiana. The Panthers from North Central were a remarkable presence that tested HC for the full 80 minutes.

Coach Wiggins: "Coach (Jerry) Little is an all time great in high school soccer. I have always said that if you take the field against a North Central team, you better be ready. There are few as competitive as Jerry, and his teams always play strong. We made a strong statement this afternoon, and defeated one of the best teams in Indiana. They were tough today, and I am extremely proud of our boys."
